An Autumn Update

Praise the Lord,

It's autumn here in the Kansai area. I'm sending a couple pictures of Autumn color. Some of the trees here are quite stunning. What an artist God is!! The grayish building is my home. My little apartment is inside it, that is.

Unfortunately, I must begin to decide about next year. This year will fulfill my two-year commitment. I can come back and serve in the same role next year, I believe. I do feel that maybe God has something else for me; but maybe I'm just feeling restless! I'm not sure what God has for me. If you think of me, I would be humbly grateful for any prayers on my behalf or any words of advice. I need to inform the mission of my intentions probably by February, so they know how many teachers to look for or consider.

It's been a great blessing to work in the same organization as my brother, Paul and sister-in-law, Esther. Paul has been very busy finishing a Masters Degree. His last class ends next Monday, so he needs prayer this week. He has the practicum after that, but I'm guessing that will be less additional work.

We really need to see an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in this land. People are very nonchalant about matters of eternal significance. Please pray that God would be able to work the changes in us; so He can move in the hearts of unbelievers.

I pray that God will keep you and your families in His care; may we be everything He wants us to be.
